Spring Cleaning

Spring is upon us! Now is a great time to clean out those closets and our toy boxes!  But cleaning with kids in the house, sometimes feels like brushing your teeth while eating chocolate cake. Rather than feeling defeated, have your little ones help to box up gently used clothes and toys for those who need them. MCountryDay, recently donated over a dozen coats to the Salvation Army and our students had a great time making their contributions to the community.

Toddlers love to help, and feel great pride in their accomplishments!  You’ll be surprised at how enthusiastic they are to assist!

When cleaning and helping to pick up is part of the daily routine, kids catch on and realize they are an important part of contributing to the household running smooth and neatly. It’s also a great way to have your child exercise their practical life skills and to feel good about themselves by giving to others!
